Buying your own materials is always welcome — but you never have to. If you're unsure what to order or where to find it, our craftsmen are glad to source it for you. These rates reflect the real work behind it: the hours and miles, the fuel and wear on our vehicles, and a career spent building a roster of trusted, quality-first vendors. As a craftsman collective, quality is our first order of business.
A 25% surcharge applies to consumable materials acquired and used on client projects. Timber, stone, concrete, and other large construction materials procured and shipped to the jobsite by Piedmont carry a 50% surcharge.
Ask about a materials-selection consultation. Selection and inventory management is billed at 5% of invoiced materials as commission, plus 10% APR on the original invoice value of client materials held at Piedmont facilities, after a 30-day grace period.
All pricing is based on single-craftsman labor. Engagements requiring multiple craftsmen are subject to an additional labor charge of $50 per hour per additional craftsman. To ensure a reliable start date and initiate materials purchases, Piedmont Craftsman Guild will require a 30% upfront deposit with contract signing on most jobs.
